Products I Love | Christmas Shopping Guide for Foodies

It’s amazing that this year is almost about to end and that Christmas is again just around the corner. Although December can be hectic and full of last minute appointments, drinks and food preparations, this time of the year is also super exciting and fun. I thought it would be nice to help you out on your Christmas shopping by providing you with some of my favorite gift ideas. Some of these gifts are still on my wish list. You will make a true health lover (aka foodie) truly happy with one of the suggestions below. Although food is always a good idea to give, I also love giving gifts that are non-food related since they’ll never go to waste and they’ll always be appreciated.

So let’s get started!

spiralizer

Every foodie will be happy with a spiralizer. It’s a really fun present to give, because this kitchen equipment is always fun to use. Not to mention the fact that you can make absolute delicious and good looking meals with this simple equipment. My favorites are soups, salads and spring rolls. They’re pretty inexpensive too and easy to find online.

bowl Other kitchen supplies would be a wooden salad bowl or wooden cutlery. Also cute little cereal bowls are a great gift for the ladies.

Nice salad bowls, cutlery, cute cereal style bowls, jars and pretty plates are always really popular too, especially for those of us that love photographing our food. Also, pretty much everything in the kitchen department of this website would be a great gift.

Folklore plates

Currently, I’m drooling over these awesome plates by Folklore.

Of course, we foodies love cookbooks. There are lots of great healthy books out there. Two very beautiful books to give are:

Green Kitchen Stories

Oh She Glows

They’re all full of beautiful photos and delicious recipes that will give you lots of new ideas.

Kale_Sweatshirt_Navy_large For foodies with a heart for fashion as well (that would be me), I can recommend this sweater that went crazy over the internet when Beyoncé was doing what she does best with basically only the sweater and underwear. Yes, a simple comfy sweater that says ‘’Kale’’. That truly covers it all for me. A true Christmas must. I bought mine here.

You like things with kale on it written? Then you might love this Kale canvas bag. I love these kind of bags, I carry my lunch boxes and water bottles in them so I don’t damage my actual bag. Yeah, the life of a plant based foodie…

sistema_ Talking about lunch boxes, foodies always carry around bottles and containers. And I can never have too many. So these gifts are always welcome. I recently discovered an affordable light weighted lunchbox collection (they have more though such as bottles). Of course BPA free. They are from Sistema and they are truly adorable. The collection is great. My favorite are the ones with a separate section for my dressing or dips and a fork and knife incorporated in the lid. Life changing.

M legging For the people in your life that love working out some great trainers will be a very nice gift, I love Nike! The new holiday collection from Nike and Liberty London is just amazing!

Or what about actual sport wear. A new sport outfit can boost your motivation! I currently love these Michi Spiral Leggings .  I don’t like working out in shorts so this is perfect! The mesh helps keeps your legs from getting overheated, and the long length means that they are great for both workouts and days out on the town (with the Kale sweater: Health Nerd Alert!).

lamp_ Last but not least (and still on my wish list) is a himalayan salt lamp.

These lamps makes an ambient and cleansing addition to any bedroom. Salt lamps are prized for their negative ion production. Yes, they have air purifying properties of negative ions. Pretty amazing.Basically, salt lamps attract moisture from the air to the lamp surface, where, due to the warmth, the water evaporates quickly. The evaporation produces negative ions (source). Pollen, dust, dirt, pollutants, and allergens in the air all carry a positive charge, and that is how they can be suspended in the air. The negative ions neutralize these positive ions. Negative ions boost mood, relieve seasonal affective disorder, and improve breathing problems such as asthma.

I hope you all enjoyed this gift guide as much as I enjoyed putting it together! What are your favorite foodie gifts? Share your gifts below!
