Fresh lime celery juice

Morning Glory Juice

The juice I created and am most proud of at the moment is my this fresh lime celery juice . Like many other great tasting juices I ended up making this juice with leftovers fruits and veggies.

The trick are the limes which will make this juice taste like soda.

Why I always add celery to my juices

Besides the fact that I love the taste of fresh crispy celery for me celery equals the King of Greens. K for vitamin K that is. Vitamin K is  important for bone health. Celery also contains healthy fibers. (source)

There are nutritional benefits to be found in all parts of the plant, including the leaves, stalks, roots, and seeds. And yes, celery should be kept in the fridge.

Feel free to add more celery in this juice if you want, the more the better. And for those who hate celery this juice will be a true delight to you because of the soda like taste.

Fresh lime celery juice
 
A delicious fresh juice with celery, carrots and lime! Pure health in a glass!

Serves: 1 liter
Ingredients
  • 3 celery sticks
  • 1 apple
  • 2 limes or lemons
  • a little piece of ginger
  • half a kilo of carrots
  • 3 oranges
  • half a cucumber
  • a teaspoon of green powder (chlorella, wheatgrass and spirulina)
  • a broken capsule probiotics (optional)
Instructions
  1. Wash all produce well under running water and peel the lemons / limes and oranges. Then juice all the fruits and vegetables through your juicer. Add green powder (s) and probiotics to your juice when you are done juicing.

    Beste,

    Ik heb een vraag, ik ben de laatste tijd erg bezig met gezonde voeding en vooral met rawfood.
    Ik wil heel graag een ander voedingskeuze voor mezelf. Ik merk ook dat ik erg geïnteresseerd ben in super en raw food en vindt het erg lekker.
    Het enigste wat mij vertraagt om er eigenlijk volledig mee te leven is dat ik niet weet wat te doen en wat ik moet gebruiken. Het liefst maak ik er mijn dagelijkse voeding van maar weet niet hoe. Ik hoop dat u mij kunt helpen hierbij.
