This smoothie is an easy and high nutritional smoothie which you can make either with kale or with spinach. It’s best to rotate your greens, so one day I will indulge with kale and the next day I will make a Super Charge Iron Smoothie. Obviously you can also mix spinach and kale in one smoothie.
Why is kale not just a hype? Kale is really awesome.
- Vitamin C, A and K;
- Vitamin B1, B2, B3, B6;
- Omega-3 fatty acids
- Omega-6 fatty acids
So what kind of useful ingredients do we need to blend?
- a lot of kale or spinach (I used two cups);
- two bananas;
- one big apple;
- one lemon, the entire peeled lemon;
- filtered water.
The vitamin C in the lemon will make plant-based iron more absorbable.
You can add superfoods here as well of course, but this smoothie is already pretty much awesome.
