Parsley Power Smoothie

When I was a kid I used to think that parsley was just a decoration and I would always remove it from my dish. Luckily, I know better now.

Parlsey is rich in vitamin A, K and C and also in folic acid and iron (which will be better absorbed due to the vitamin C).

And there is more…

Parlsey act as an antioxidant
Parlsey purifies blood
Kills bacteria in the body
Parsley cleanse the liver of toxins and rejuvenates it
This herb has anti-inflammatory properties
Some studies have shown that it inhibits tumor formation (especially in the lungs)
Parsley is very powerful and is used to treat many illnesses such as urinary tract infections, kidney stones, constipation, flatulence, indigestion, diabetes, cough, asthma, anemia and high blood pressure
It is also used to start menstrual flow, to cause an abortion (I would not recommend to consume this while being pregnant), as an aphrodisiac, and as a breath freshener.

Some people apply parsley directly to the skin for cracked or chapped skin, bruises, tumors and to stimulate hair growth.

There are so many ways to include parsley into your diet, but blending this herb will make sure you can consume a lot (raw).

For this delicious smoothie you will need

As much parsley as you want (the more the better)
A cup of kale
One banana
One lemon
A piece of ginger (as much as you desire)
A cup of purified water or coconut water

So simple and so incredibly delicious, healthy and full with enzymes, vitamins and minerals.

Blend and enjoy!

    Hi Bianca,

Just had breakfast with this absolutely tasty smoothie. I just put extra hemp seeds on top, because it helps me to chew the juice.
Thank you so much for this original creation and your healthy website in general!!!

    Cheers,
    Janet
