I have a weird tendancy to take a peek in other bags at the grocery store. I try not to judge, since I used to replace my dinner for chocolate bars. However, when I see moms feeding their kids artificial processed ‘food’ my heart breaks. In my opinion, kids and babies are still developing and need the best of the best fuel. Especially baby food is so easy to make yourself. For older kids the possibilities are also endless and smoothies for kids are a great way to make sure they eat healthily. I can understand that for some parents money may be an issue, but when you do your groceries in a smart way it shouldn’t be that expensive compared to what you would spend on candies loaded with chemicals and artificial sugars.
We all love a sweet taste and so do kids. No wonder, human breast milk actually tastes sweet…This smoothie will absolutely satisfy the sweet desire we all have. So sweet!
- One banana
- One frozen banana
- One mango
- Teaspoon of cinnamon
- A bit of papaya powder
- Some goji berries (also as topping)
- Just blend and add water if necessary.
- Freeze this smoothie for the perfect icecream.
