Crispy Tahini Salad

When you’re creating the same crispy tahini salad over and over again I believe I can truly title this my best summer salad ever. It’s a bit salty, creamy, but also fresh and cripsy at the same time. It’s a salad that can easily be made with leftovers fruits and vegetables from juicing.

Tahini?

If you don’t know what tahini paste is; buy it now. Tahini makes life good. Tahini is basically a paste made from ground sesame seeds and can be added to everything. It’s contains vitamins and minerals and a good amount of calcium., that is if you buy the unhulled tahini. The unhulled tahini is better than the hulled tahini since it’s made from the whole sesame seed, so all the vitamins and minerals are still there.

The Best Summer Salad

Ingredients

  • Three tomatoes
  • One small apple
  • One small onion
  • Three celery sticks
  • One avocado
  • Half a cucumber
  • Olive oil
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Apple cider vinegar
  • Tahini

Instructions

  1. Cut all the ingredients in small pieces. The cucumber should be cut into little stripes though. Trust me this will make a huge difference. It should not be too difficult though. I used a vegetable peeler to do so. Add some salt, pepper, a teaspoon of olive oil and a teaspoon apple cider vinnegar. Mix all in a bowl. Serve on a nice plate and finish it of with some tahini. Enjoy
