This year I’m EXTRA excited for my gift guide because I own all the products myself and therefore know that all my recommendations are great! How wonderful it is that you can shop, give a gift to your loved ones and also have a sustainable impact in the long run with your gift(s).

This year’s gift guide is not just for the vegan foodie. My recommendations are for any foodie who would love to live more sustainable.

Because let’s be honest, it’s indeed the most wonderful time of the year, but it can also be a stressful time. This guide will make things easier for you. There is a gift for every budget, every foodie, women, men….I got you covered!

The guide is full with products that I love and use on a daily basis.

Canning Jars – Glass jars are an absolute must for any foodie and anyone trying to use less plastic. These 6 ounce jars are super versatile. Canning, pickling, preserving, and fermenting are all possible with a great set of glass jars. Canned and sealed food can last up to 18 months in these jars.

Electrical Milk Frother – Life will be so much better for every foodie with a good electrical milk frother. Even for the ones who don’t drink coffee. I personally don’t drink coffee, but use a milk frother almost on a daily basis  for a strong tea or Dandy Blend with a layer of thick milk foam made with almond- or oat milk. So no need to run to a coffee place when you can make your own delicious drink!

Stainless Steel Reusable Straws – A set of environmentally friendly reusable drinking straws is not only sustainable, but also gorgeous, convenient, durable and long lasting. A must for every sustainable foodie.

Flavor Cookbook – Gifting your loved one the gift of whole plant-based recipes to cook every day to live a healthier life with this gorgeous book is definitely going to be much loved gift. And maybe a few non-vegans will decide to eat fully vegan or more vegan? You never know! Because vegans are knocking off 85% off their carbon footprint…

The Green Bowl e-Cookbook (yes, that is my e-cookbook) – Instead you could give an e-cookbook, so digital instead of printed. Since paper requires the cutting down of trees, transport of trees, and the use of toxic inks. This e-cookbook is full with delicious every day recipes, all whole food plant-based vegan and every recipe comes with a picture.

Cotton Mesh Grocery Bags – These eco-friendly mesh bags are my favorite when shopping for fruits and veggies. Skip the plastic and use these bags instead.  These reusable bags are all natural and chemical free. They will last forever as they are also easy to wash. I personally happen to find these super stylish.

Reusable Notebook – Foodies like to write recipes and after owning 78592 notebooks myself it was time for a change and to stop wasting paper just for recipe writing and planning. This environmentally-friendly notebook can be used forever! Done writing a recipe or planning? Wipe the notebook clean with a damp cloth.

Bento-Box-Style Lunchbox – Taking your own food is a great way to avoid plastic packaging. These gorgeous square lunch boxes are great for salads, picnics, or just for every day when taking your own lunch to work. These boxes are 100% airtight, made of high quality materials, and BPA-free. You can put these boxes in the microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, and they are also freezer-safe.

Silicone Baking Mat – A non-stick silicone baking mat is perfect for baking, roasting and kneading without having to use parchment paper. These mats are durable, easy to clean and resuable. For the whole food plant-based foodie who doesn’t use oil, these non-stick baking mats are nonstick without a single drop of oil. A great sustainable gift.

USB Rechargeable Kitchen Scale – One of the best gifts I ever got was a kitchen scale. Every foodie will use this a lot. So a kitchen scale with that little bit of extra will be great gift. This kitchen scale is highly accurate, allows you to select between 6 different units of measurement, and charging is done with a USB Cable. So no need for batteries, which is great for the environment. The scale is also waterproof and durable.

Bamboo Cutting Board Set – An ultra thick bamboo cutting board is not only gorgeous in any kitchen, but also durable. It is made with eco-friendly, bacteria resistant and highly compressed bamboo wood. I think every foodie would be happy to exchange a plastic cutting board for a durable bamboo one.

Manual Food Processor – A food processor is amazing, but big and sometimes just too much of a good thing for just a few cloves of garlic or a small batch of salsa. Enter the manual ”food processor”. I can’t tell you how convenient this little thing is. Place the food in the cup, pull the handle and you are done! The handle lets you control the spinning blades to so you can decide how finely chopped the food should be.

Measuring Cups & SpoonsMeasuring cups and spoons are a must for any foodie. This stainless steel set will last forever and is a gorgeous gift. I use my set on a weekly basis for both dry or liquid ingredients.

BPA-Free Glass Water Bottle – I have been using this bottle for years. I lost count, but I think I have been using this bottle for at least 5 years on a daily basis. The glass bottle with a silicone sleeve has a nice grip and will not break so easily. I love thi sbottle and it would make such great gift for the environmentally conscious foodie.

Food HuggersEach year, literally tons of food is thrown out. Food waste is abig issue and the numbers are crazy. Almost 50% of all fresh produce purchased gets thrown away without being eaten. Food huggers aka reusable silicone food savers is an easy way to recuce food waste and save the environment.
Food huggers cover and save your fruits and veggies to keep them fresh. Perfect to save lemons, limes, tomatoes, onions, kiwi, or half bananas. Food huggers can also be used as a resusable cover for cans. These eco-friendly plastic free food wraps are also a great way to reduce plastic wraps.

Foldable Reusable Bag Grocery Shopping – I always carry a foldable grocery shopping bag with me in my handbag. It looks better than plastic, and it comes with a pouch to easily fold and keep in yout bag. It is made from heavy duty nylon and it can truly handle a lot. Every foodie who wants to avoid plastic will love a stylish set like this one.

Nonstick Low-Tox Pan – This year I was on the quest to look for the perfect pan that will last forever. I think I have found a great one. This pan is nonstick with a ceramic coating and a thick aluminum core (only the core!) to heat up quickly and evenly and not burn when you don’t use oil. The pan is PTFE and PFOA free and environmentally friendly. No harmful fumes are released into the environment when heated. Good for you and your environment!

3 layer steam basket –  In order to preserve precious nutrients, it’s better to steam your veggies than to boil them. A 100% bamboo steaming basket is perfect for gently cooking and warming vegetables. This set is lightweight and durable and a great alternative to traditional materials for a more sustainable living. The tiers offer room to make a single or multiple servings. They look amazing and will make any foodie happy!

Copper bottle – A pure copper water bottle is a gorgeous gift and this hammered version will make a great gift for any foodie. According to Ayurveda, there are some health benefits of drinking water that has been in a copper bottle overnight.
