HOW TO MAKE PERFECTLY BAKED APPLES

INGREDIENTS

apples & hot water

rolled oats

maple syrup

vanilla extract

salt

chopped walnuts

coconut sugar

coconut oil

nutmeg

cinnamon

STEP 1.

Preheat the oven to 350°F / 180°C and wash the apples. Cut the apples in half.

STEP 2.

Scoop out the inside of the apples. You can also cut them in half and then scoop out the inside.

STEP 3.

In a medium bowl combine the filling.

STEP 4.

Combine until you have a mixed and slightly moist mixture.

STEP 5.

Fill the apples with the mixture.

STEP 6.

Place the apples in a baking dish or cast iron pan. Add hot water to the pan.

STEP 7.

Place the apples in the oven to bake until the apples are brown and soft.

Serve the baked apples straight out of the oven (for breakfast) or make a fancy breakfast or dessert and serve the baked apples with (soy) yogurt or ice cream.
