Description

This Aperol Soda cocktail is a crowd-pleaser and you only need 3 ingredients and 5 minutes to make this drink. Aperol Soda is relatively low in alcohol but bursting with flavors—a great and simple cocktail to serve any time of the year.

Instructions

  1. Fill Glass with Ice Cubes
Start by filling a glass with ice cubes and orange wedges.
  2. Pour Aperol
Pour Aperol on top of the ice cubes.
  3. Add Club Soda
Finish with Club Soda and stir gently.
  4. Garnish with Orange Slices
Place a twig of rosemary in the glass and add a blood orange slice on the rim of the glass. Give your Aperol Soda a final and gently stir before serving.

Notes

  • Store Aperol in the refrigerator and use once chilled for the optimal temperature.
  • Feel free to use any Club Soda you like. I recommend the Fever Tree Club Soda or Sparkling water.
  • Blood Oranges are generally available from December to April, but if you can’t find this gorgeous addition to your cocktail, you can use a regular orange, lime, or lemon.
  • Use ice cubes that are large enough to cool your Aperol. Small ice cubes (or using too little ice cubes) will melt fast and dilute your drink too much.
