Description

Sweet, sour, bright, and peachy, with the taste of whiskey, this green tea shot is the perfect cocktail for your next celebration with only 4 ingredients.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 ounce (15 ml) Irish Whiskey, such as Jameson
  • 1/2 ounce (15 ml) Peach Schnapps
  • 1/2 ounce(15 ml) Sour Mix
  • Splash of lemonade or other lemon-lime soda (use Sprite for a sweeter shot)
  • 4-6 ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Add ice cubes.
Fill a cocktail shaker with ice cubes.
  2. Add other ingredients.
Using a jigger or shot glass, measure 1/2 ounce (15 ml) of Jameson Irish Whiskey, Peach Schnapps, and sour mix and pour it into the cocktail shaker.
  3. Shake.
Shake the mixture until chilled (about 5 seconds) and strain the mixture into a shot glass.
  4. Top with sparkling soda.
Top off with a splash of lemon-lime soda or Sprite, and serve.

Notes

  • Don’t overshake
Shake the mixture until chilled. Shaking too long will dilate the shot as the ice cubes start to melt.
  • Tools
A jigger or cocktail shaker will make things easier, but it’s unnecessary. A jar with a good lid and a kitchen scale will also do the job.
