Description

Sautéed Dates are the easiest appetizer ever. The salt will reduce the sweetness a bit and the heat will make them a bit softer and less sticky. The center is melted and the skin is crispy and taste like caramel.

Ingredients

  • cold pressed coconut oil
  • Medjool dates, unpitted
  • Celtic sea salt

Instructions

  1. Heat a tablespoon of coconut oil in a pan over medium heat. Fill the pan with dates and sautée the dates.Turn them a few times, and don’t walk away because they burn very easily. When they are warm enough they are ready to be served. Serve them on a plate with Celtic sea salt and some drops of the coconut oil they were baked in.
