This incredibly rich tahini chocolate vegan fudge is made with 6 simple ingredients. This soft fudge tastes like perfect chocolate fudge with a hint of tahini. It is vegan, gluten-free, nut-free, fudgy, satisfying, delicious, and the ideal treat to keep in your freezer.
- 3/4 cup (190 grams) hulled tahini
- ¼ cup (60 ml) full fat coconut milk
- 5 1/2 tablespoons (80 ml) pure maple syrup
- ½ tablespoon vanilla extract
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- 3 tablespoons unsweetened cacao powder or raw cacao
Optional: sea salt and more cacao powder for sprinkling on top
For those perfect small chunky fudge squares, line an 8×4 inch loaf pan with parchment paper. But you can also use a bigger loaf pan and make thinner fudge squares.
In a medium bowl combine together the tahini, coconut milk, maple syrup, vanilla, salt and cacao powder until smooth.
Pour the fudge mixture into the lined loaf pan and freeze for at least 30 minutes.
Cut the fudge into the desired squares.
Sprinkle with a little sea salt and/or cacao powder.
The fudge does melt quickly. Keep the fudge it the freezer right before you are ready to serve it.
You can keep the fudge in the freezer in a closed container for up to 3 months.
