This ginger shot will boost your immune system and all you need are just a few ingredients and a blender or juicer.


  • juice of 1 small lemon
  • grated ginger (about 2 cm of fresh ginger)
  • a pinch of ground cayenne pepper


Blender method
Place the lemon juice in the blender and add in the fresh ginger and ground cayenne pepper. Blend until the ginger is fully blended. Add a few tablespoons of water if the mixture is too thick. Run through a sieve and serve.

Juicer method
Place the whole peeled lemon and fresh ginger in the juicer. Juice. Add in the cayenne pepper and serve.


Feel free to add (more) water if the mixture is too strong.
