Description
Rooibos latte is an amazing drink served either warm or cold. This is the simple quick warm version that’s a perfect drink also for later in the day/evening since it’s caffeine-free.
Ingredients

- 1 cup boiling water
- 1–2 teaspoons loose rooibos or 1 tea bag rooibos tea
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
- 1/2 cup plant-based milk (I used almond milk)
- 1 teaspoon date paste
- Optional: ground cinnamon and cardamom
Instructions
- For the cold froth method:
- Boil one cup of water. Place the tea bag in the cup and let steep for about 5 minutes.
- Add date syrup, cinnamon, cardamom and vanilla extract. Stir.
- Prepare a cold glass. Add in the milk in the cold glass and froth with a milk frother.
- Add the frothed milk to the rooibos tea. Sprinkle more cinnamon on the milk foam.
