When I started following a vegan diet, I thought I would never enjoy great creamy ice creams anymore. Water-based popsicles were probably the only ice creams I could have. That was until I discovered the magical combination of a powerful blender and frozen fruits that create 1-ingredient nicecream, a super simple 1-ingredient recipe.

This is so good and easy to make! Yes, it melts a bit faster than the creamy ice creams from the supermarket, but it is still so worth it. You can make this nicecream as sweet as you wish. I find ripe bananas already sweet enough, but you could add some dates if you like.
Tip
Vary with fruit. I also love to make an ice cream with frozen cherries and cacao and mango with pieces of coconut.

Description
1-Ingredient Banana Ice Cream aka nicecream aka banana ice cream. Easy, vegan, sweet and creamy.
Ingredients
- 2 frozen bananas
- a little splash of plant-based milk or water if your blender is not powerful enough
- optional:
- cacao nibs

Instructions
- The night before, place the (peeled) bananas in your freezer. The next day you can take them out of the freezer about 5 minutes before you are about to make this ice cream.
