The first time I enjoyed this smoothie was in a restaurant in Brussels and I was pleasantly surprised. I had to recreate this at home, and since then, this has been my go-to smoothie recipe.

Ingredients
- one cup of almond milk or any other milk you prefer
- one banana (frozen is better)
- a big dash of vanilla powder or vanilla essence
- the juice of one lemon or lime
- 3–4 fresh basil leaves
Instructions
- Blend all ingredients in a blender and serve immediately. For a colder smoothie, use frozen bananas or simply add a few ice cubes. Enjoy!
